A local Church with a world wide vision!
The Door Christian Fellowship Church of Garland was founded in 2008, and has served the community and the surrounding DFW area since. We are part of Christian Fellowship Ministries, which was founded in Prescott, AZ by Pastor Wayman Mitchell in the early 70’s. During that time the Gospel was spreading like fire across the world, and transformed the lives of many lost young hippies. We were birthed in the Jesus people movement and we are still focused on reaching the lost. Since then, our fellowship has planted churches across the globe, in more than 100 nations and has multiplied to more than 3,000 churches world-wide and still growing.
Pastor Wayman Mitchell went to be with the Lord September 21, 2020 and today our fellowship is under the leadership of Pastor Greg Mitchelll who continues to carry forth the vision of World Evangelism and Church Planting.
This church is a product of that vision and is working to see it expanded in the short time that remains before Jesus’ return. God has given us a vision for the day we live in. In a world full of empty dreams and false promises, is a truth which grows stronger each day - a simple message that Jesus Christ is the only hope for man’s salvation.
Jesus said "I am The Door, if anyone enters by me he will be saved..."
